Eclipse Vert.x versions 5.0.0 through 5.0.12, 5.1.0 through 5.1.9, and 5.2.0 contain a vulnerability in the HTTP proxy component's body transformer interceptor. This interceptor relies on a maximum buffered bytes limit to bound memory usage per request. However, an attacker can exploit this to cause the server to allocate heap memory indefinitely, leading to a denial-of-service condition. The vulnerability requires the use of an intercepting body transformer to be exploitable. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 10/15/2026, 09:30:33 UTC Added: 10/20/2026, 22:33:11 UTC |
