The issue arose because the asynchronous call_rcu() callback was removed, causing a race condition where a softirq could access freed memory, leading to potential kernel crashes. The fix reintroduces call_rcu() to ensure the object remains valid until all readers complete. This vulnerability affects the TCP connection handling code and can be triggered by unprivileged users under certain network namespaces.
