CVE-2024-46818 is a high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's AMD display driver where the gpio_id value was not properly validated before being used as an array index. This flaw could lead to out-of-bounds array access due to the use of an invalid GPIO_ID_UNKNOWN (-1) value. The issue has been fixed by adding a check to ensure gpio_id is valid before use, addressing five overrun issues identified by static analysis.
