0 Netty's STOMP codec (io.netty:netty-codec-stomp) has a memory leak vulnerability in the StompSubframeDecoder component. The decoder allocates a buffer while waiting for a terminating NUL byte that may never arrive, causing the buffer to remain unreleased. This leak can accumulate over time, potentially leading to memory exhaustion. The issue affects versions up to and including 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.0.Final through 4.2.17.Final and is fixed in versions 4.1.138.Final and 4.2.18.Final.
