CVE-2024-54466 is an authorization vulnerability in macOS that allows an encrypted volume to be accessed by a different user without prompting for the password. The issue was addressed by improving state management. It is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2, macOS Ventura 13.7.2, and macOS Sonoma 14.7.2.
