In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: fs/ntfs3: bound copy_lcns dp->page_lcns[] index in analysis pass In… (CVE-2026-72196)CVE-2026-72196 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NTFS3 filesystem driver was resolved involving an out-of-bounds write in the log_replay() function. The issue occurs due to missing bounds checking when copying cluster indices, leading to a slab-out-of-bounds write. This flaw was fixed by adding a boundary check to prevent overflow of the dp->page_lcns[] array during the analysis pass of log replay.
