A time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) heap overflow vulnerability was resolved in the Linux kernel's RDMA/rxe component. The issue occurs in the get_srq_wqe() function, where a field read from a shared receive queue buffer mapped into userspace is validated but then re-read without synchronization, allowing a concurrent userspace thread to modify it and cause a heap buffer overflow. The fix involves reading the field once into a local variable for consistent use during validation and copying.
