CVE-2026-21580 is a high-severity vulnerability in Atlassian Confluence Data Center and Server that allows unauthenticated attackers to execute stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks, escalate privileges, and exploit security misconfigurations. It affects multiple versions starting from 7.1.1 through various releases up to 10.2.0. The vulnerability enables execution of arbitrary HTML or JavaScript in victims' browsers and unauthorized actions as higher-privileged users. Atlassian recommends upgrading to fixed versions 9.2.21 or later for the 9.2 branch and 10.2.13 or later for the 10.2 branch.
