CVE-2024-43867 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/nouveau driver where calling nouveau_bo_ref() on an uninitialized nouveau_bo object causes a reference count underflow. This flaw was fixed by changing the cleanup approach in drm_gem_object_init() to avoid calling nouveau_bo_ref() on uninitialized objects.
