A potential memory leak vulnerability in the Linux kernel's fbdev s3fb driver was identified and resolved. The issue occurred in the s3_pci_probe() function where allocated memory for modelist was not freed on error paths. The fix involved properly freeing this memory using fb_destroy_modelist().
