A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's CAN BCM (Broadcast Manager) subsystem was resolved by extending the bcm_tx_lock usage to protect data and timer updates. This fix ensures that CAN frame content is fully validated before being copied under lock, preventing observation of partially updated or unvalidated frames. Additionally, missing error handling and synchronization issues on 32-bit platforms were addressed.
