In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfs: Fix netfs_create_write_req() to handle async cache object creation… (CVE-2026-72366)CVE-2026-72366 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netfs subsystem related to asynchronous cache object creation was resolved. The function netfs_create_write_req() improperly skipped caching operations when the fscache cookie was disabled, potentially bypassing necessary cache write operations. The fix removes cookie checks from netfs_create_write_req() and delegates handling to fscache_begin_write_operation().
