In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: core: fix uninitialized data in debugfs If ppos is non-zero then… (CVE-2026-68089)CVE-2026-68089 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's Industrial I/O (iio) core debugfs interface involved uninitialized data usage when the file position pointer (*ppos) was non-zero. The issue was that simple_write_to_buffer() did not initialize the start of the buffer in this case, which is invalid usage. The fix added a check to return an error (-EINVAL) if *ppos is non-zero, preventing the uninitialized data condition.
