0 StarRocks has a vulnerability where dropping a legacy synchronous materialized view does not perform any privilege checks. This allows any authenticated user to drop such views across any database without having the necessary grants on the view, base table, or database. The issue arises because legacy synchronous materialized views are stored differently and bypass the usual authorization checks that apply to asynchronous materialized views.
