The issue arises because two IE parsing loops lack proper header bounds checks before dereferencing the length field, which can lead to reading beyond the buffer if a truncated IE is received from a malicious access point. This vulnerability has been resolved by adding appropriate boundary checks to prevent OOB reads. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/25/2026, 12:31:35 UTC Added: 07/25/2026, 23:08:57 UTC |
