CVE-2024-41065 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's powerpc/pseries architecture where reading the dispatch trace log from /sys/kernel/debug/powerpc/dtl/cpu-* causes a kernel BUG() when CONFIG_HARDENED_USERCOPY is enabled. This occurs because the dtl slub object was not whitelisted for copying to userspace, leading to a kernel crash. The issue has been resolved by marking the dtl object safe for user access under hardened usercopy.
