A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's SCSI core was identified and resolved involving uninitialized DMA padding bytes in the scsi_alloc_sgtables() function. During fuzz testing, uninitialized memory usage was detected when processing the last unaligned scatterlist element, leading to potential use of uninitialized data. The issue was fixed by extending the length of the last scatterlist entry and zeroing the padding bytes properly.
