A heap buffer overflow vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iSCSI target subsystem was resolved. The function iscsi_encode_text_output() appends key-value pairs into a fixed-size 8 KiB buffer without properly checking remaining capacity, allowing up to 32 KiB of output to overflow the buffer. This flaw could lead to memory corruption. A patch is available that bounds the output buffer usage to prevent overflow.
