A consensus divergence exists between Zebra and zcashd implementations of the ZIP-244 rule for SIGHASH_SINGLE in Zcash V5+ transparent transactions. Zebra accepts malformed transactions with fewer transparent outputs than inputs by computing a digest instead of failing, while zcashd rejects them as consensus-invalid. This leads to a block-validity split where Zebra may accept and mine blocks rejected by zcashd.
