A vulnerability in the Linux kernel related to the initialization of the fwnode_handle structure has been resolved. Specifically, when a firmware node is allocated on the stack or heap using a non-zeroing allocation function and initialized with fwnode_init(), some fields, including the secondary pointer, may remain uninitialized. This can lead to dereferencing of uninitialized memory. The fix ensures that the secondary pointer and other fields are properly initialized to NULL or zero values.
