A high-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel's iommu/dma subsystem has been resolved. The issue involves improper checking of the atomic pool allocation result in a non-blocking, non-coherent allocation path. The code previously relied on cpu_addr to detect allocation failure, which is incorrect. Instead, the returned page pointer must be checked directly before using it for IOMMU mapping.
