0 CVE-2026-62992 is a path traversal vulnerability in the Smarty PHP template engine. Versions prior to 5.8.2 and 4.5.7 do not fully resolve symbolic links before validating directory paths, allowing an attacker with write access to a trusted directory to bypass containment checks and read arbitrary files accessible to the PHP process.
