In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: aoa: check snd_ctl_new1() return value snd_ctl_new1() can return NULL when… (CVE-2026-64488)CVE-2026-64488 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA aoa component was resolved that involved a missing NULL check after the snd_ctl_new1() function call. snd_ctl_new1() can return NULL on memory allocation failure, and the lack of checking this return value before dereferencing it could lead to a NULL pointer dereference.
