CVE-2025-37805 addresses a flaw in the Linux kernel's sound/virtio driver where uninitialized work_structs could trigger cancel_sync warnings during error handling in the virtsnd_probe() function. This occurs when an error causes cleanup code to call cancel_work_sync() on uninitialized work structures, potentially leading to kernel warnings and instability. The issue has been fixed by initializing the substreams structure immediately after allocation to prevent cleanup of uninitialized data.
