A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvme-tcp driver allows a malicious NVMe controller to cause host memory disclosure by sending a Read To Transfer (R2T) for a read command. The kernel does not verify the direction of the request referenced by the R2T, leading to the host sending stale kernel memory contents back to the controller. This issue has been resolved by rejecting R2Ts for requests that are not writes. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/11/2026, 21:31:28 UTC Added: 09/12/2026, 00:43:05 UTC |
