A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's NFS server (nfsd) component related to incorrect XDR padding calculation in the ff_encode_getdeviceinfo function has been resolved. The issue causes the declared length of a data field to exceed the actual encoded data by 2-8 bytes, leading to leakage of stale data from previous replies and misalignment in decoding subsequent data. This affects the GETDEVICEINFO replies in flexfile NFS operations. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/11/2026, 21:31:35 UTC Added: 09/12/2026, 00:42:44 UTC |
