In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: qcom-geni: fix TX DMA buffer flush When transmit flushing a qcom-geni… (CVE-2026-74655)CVE-2026-74655 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's serial driver for Qualcomm GENI UART (qcom-geni) caused the UART to get stuck infinitely repeating corrupted TX DMA frames when transmit flushing during an ongoing TX DMA. This issue could cause a hang during a tcdrain call following a large write and TCOFLUSH. The problem was fixed by adding a flush_buffer callback to properly stop transfers and clear state, and by correcting the stop path to safely cancel commands and reset the DMA state machine.
