In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/xe/pf: Don't attempt to process FAST_REQ or EVENT relays Currently defined… (CVE-2026-72360)CVE-2026-72360 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's drm/xe/pf component was resolved that involved improper handling of FAST_REQUEST and EVENT relay messages. The vulnerability stemmed from the PF (Physical Function) attempting to process message types it should not handle, which could break the VFPF ABI protocol and potentially trigger an assertion failure on the PF side. This issue has been fixed by ensuring the PF does not process these message types. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:21 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:20 UTC |
