CVE-2026-72654 is a vulnerability in the Kibana machine learning feature where an operation accessible to users with read-only access is executed with an internal service identity instead of the requesting user's identity. This flaw allows such users to obtain data from Elasticsearch indices they are not authorized to access, without requiring any Elasticsearch cluster or index privileges.
