MOOS-IvP versions through 24.8.1 contain a vulnerability in the SplitHandler component where variable names extracted from alog files are not properly validated. This flaw allows attackers to craft alog files with backslash sequences in variable names, enabling them to write files outside the intended split directory on Windows systems. The vulnerability can lead to arbitrary file write operations, potentially impacting file integrity. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 09/04/2026, 00:31:10 UTC Added: 09/04/2026, 14:25:56 UTC |
