This flaw allows authenticated low-privilege attackers to bypass ASLR by sending a crafted file size value that causes a negative off_t value and subsequent incorrect conversion. The vulnerability leads to the server reading beyond the SSH channel data and overwriting process memory into the uploaded file. The leaked data includes pointers that can reveal randomized base addresses, enabling reliable exploitation of memory corruption vulnerabilities in the same process.
