In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: dma-axi-dmac: Properly free struct axi_dmac_desc Use… (CVE-2026-72475)CVE-2026-72475 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's dmaengine subsystem related to the dma-axi-dmac driver has been resolved. The issue involved improper freeing of the struct axi_dmac_desc descriptor in failure paths during DMA vector preparation. The fix ensures that axi_dmac_free_desc() is called to fully free the descriptor when axi_dmac_alloc_desc() fails in axi_dmac_prep_peripheral_dma_vec().
