0 CVE-2026-73269 is a critical privilege escalation vulnerability in the cluster-curator-controller component of Red Hat multicluster engine for Kubernetes 2.10. A local user can create a ClusterCurator resource with a specific name to trigger the creation of a cluster-scoped ClusterRoleBinding, escalating privileges from namespace-local to cluster-wide. This allows broad permissions including access to secrets, cluster management, and deletion of hosted clusters or node pools. Red Hat has released updated images in version 2.11.6 addressing this issue. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/12/2026, 19:05:05 UTC Added: 09/06/2026, 14:18:34 UTC |
