In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/uaccess: correct check for CONFIG_PPC_E500 in mask_user_address()… (CVE-2026-68473)CVE-2026-68473 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's powerpc/uaccess code was resolved by correcting a configuration check in the mask_user_address() function. The function incorrectly checked for CONFIG_E500 instead of the correct CONFIG_PPC_E500, which caused mask_user_address_isel() to not be used on E500 hardware. This issue has been fixed by updating the check to use the correct configuration name. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 08/15/2026, 06:32:08 UTC Added: 08/15/2026, 15:53:29 UTC |
