CVE-2024-56625 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's CAN device driver where the function can_set_termination() improperly uses gpiod_set_value() to set GPIO values. This causes warnings and potential issues on systems using sleeping GPIOs, such as those behind I2C port expanders. The issue is resolved by replacing gpiod_set_value() with gpiod_set_value_cansleep(), which supports sleeping GPIOs.
