In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/hv-gpci: fix preempt count leak in sysfs show paths Four sysfs show()… (CVE-2026-64070)CVE-2026-64070 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's powerpc/hv-gpci subsystem caused a preempt count leak in four sysfs show() callbacks. This leak occurs because put_cpu_var() is only called on error paths, leading to preemption remaining disabled after successful reads. On kernels with CONFIG_PREEMPT=y, repeated reads can cause preemption to stay disabled, resulting in a SIGSEGV and a kernel BUG triggered by scheduling while atomic.
