GHSA-h9f9-h6gm-wc85: flyto-core has Unauthenticated Command Execution via HTTP MCP `execute_module`CVE-2026-55786 0 flyto-core versions >=2.26.2 and <2.26.4 contain an unauthenticated command execution vulnerability via the HTTP MCP endpoint at POST /mcp. This endpoint accepts JSON-RPC requests without authentication and allows dispatching to arbitrary registered modules, including sandbox.execute_shell, which executes attacker-controlled shell commands directly. By default, the server binds to localhost, making this a high-severity local vulnerability, but if configured to bind to all interfaces, it becomes remotely exploitable. The vulnerability arises from missing authentication checks on the MCP route and lack of input sanitization before passing commands to asyncio.create_subprocess_shell.
