In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvme-multipath: fix flex array size in struct nvme_ns_head struct nvme_ns_head… (CVE-2026-74384)CVE-2026-74384 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's nvme-multipath subsystem involves incorrect allocation size for a flexible array member in the struct nvme_ns_head. The allocation assumes NUMA node IDs are sequential and densely packed, which is not true on some architectures like powerpc where node IDs can be sparse. This leads to out-of-bounds array access when indexing with actual NUMA node IDs, causing kernel memory corruption detected by KASAN. The issue is fixed by allocating the array using the maximum possible NUMA node IDs instead of the count of possible nodes.
