A medium-severity vulnerability in the Linux kernel Bluetooth subsystem involving the BR/EDR JUST_WORKS pairing method has been resolved. The fix aligns the BR/EDR JUST_WORKS pairing behavior with the LE (Low Energy) pairing method by always requesting user confirmation, addressing a discrepancy that could affect Bluetooth device pairing. This change ensures consistent user confirmation policies across Bluetooth pairing methods.
