A memory leak flaw was found in cockpit-ws. (CVE-2026-76235)CVE-2026-76235 0 A memory leak vulnerability (CVE-2026-76235) exists in cockpit-ws where the login page handler leaks heap memory on every unauthenticated request containing a CockpitLang cookie. This can be exploited remotely without authentication to exhaust host memory and cause a denial of service. The affected component is a stateless web console whose crash or restart does not compromise host confidentiality or integrity. The process is automatically restarted by systemd. Red Hat rates the impact as Moderate and recommends restricting network access to trusted clients until a fix is available.
