In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netdev-genl: report NAPI thread PID in the caller's pid namespace… (CVE-2026-72127)CVE-2026-72127 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's netdev-genl component caused the NAPI kernel thread PID to be reported in the initial PID namespace rather than the caller's PID namespace. This allowed callers in a child PID namespace to see the global PID of the NAPI thread, which should have been reported as 0 since the thread is not visible in their namespace. The issue has been resolved by translating the PID through the caller's PID namespace to ensure correct visibility.
