In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: firewire: isight: bound the sample count to the packet payload… (CVE-2026-64483)CVE-2026-64483 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel ALSA firewire isight driver allowed an out-of-bounds read and write due to improper bounding of the sample count to the packet payload size. This could be triggered by a malicious or faulty Apple iSight device on the FireWire bus during normal capture. The issue was fixed by bounding the sample count to the maximum frames per packet to prevent buffer overflows.
