CVE-2024-43912 is a vulnerability in the Linux kernel's wifi nl80211 subsystem that allowed setting special AP channel widths not intended for normal 20/40 MHz channel width progressions. This improper handling could lead to issues when switching to S1G or narrow channels, which are unsupported. The vulnerability has been resolved by disallowing these special AP channel widths.
