In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: vidtv: fix NULL pointer dereference in vidtv_mux_push_si syzbot reported… (CVE-2026-53382)CVE-2026-53382 0 A NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the Linux kernel's vidtv media driver was identified and resolved. The issue occurs because vidtv_mux_push_si() does not check for NULL pointers returned by vidtv_mux_get_pid_ctx(), leading to a general protection fault. The root cause is a missing error check in vidtv_mux_pid_ctx_init() when creating PID contexts for PMT sections. This flaw can cause kernel crashes due to dereferencing near-NULL addresses.
