A heap overflow vulnerability exists in the evalcommand() function within shell/ash.c of Busybox version 1.38.0. This flaw allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by supplying crafted input to the vulnerable function. The issue is identified as CWE-122 (Heap-based Buffer Overflow) and CWE-674 (Improper Control of a Resource Through a Reference). No known exploits are reported in the wild, and no patch information is currently available.
