In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ASoC: SOF: topology: validate vendor array size before parsing… (CVE-2026-72300)CVE-2026-72300 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's ASoC SOF topology parser could allow improper memory reads due to insufficient validation of vendor array sizes. The sof_parse_token_sets() function reads the size field of a vendor array without ensuring the full header is present, which can lead to reading incomplete data. The issue arises from a loop condition that does not fully validate the remaining private data length and from improper signedness checks on the array size. This vulnerability has been resolved by adding proper validation of the vendor array header and correcting the size checks to reject invalid sizes.
