In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: do not arm the ageing timer on a device that is down vxlan_changelink()… (CVE-2026-74615)CVE-2026-74615 0 A use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel's VXLAN driver was resolved by adding a missing check to avoid arming a timer on a network device that is down. The flaw allowed the ageing timer to be armed on devices that were never brought up, leading to a use-after-free condition when the timer fired after the device was freed. This issue affects operations scoped to network namespaces and can be triggered by unprivileged users within their own namespaces.
