A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's spi qup driver could lead to a null pointer dereference after a DMA setup failure. The driver attempts to fall back to PIO mode if DMA setup fails, but does not clear DMA channel pointers properly, which may cause dereferencing of error pointers or double release of channels during later probe errors or driver unbind. This issue has been resolved in the Linux kernel. Join the discussion | GCVE Database | 07/19/2026, 18:31:54 UTC Added: 07/19/2026, 19:38:16 UTC |
