In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: typec: altmodes/displayport: validate count before reading Status Update… (CVE-2026-63961)CVE-2026-63961 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's USB Type-C alternate modes for DisplayPort was resolved by validating the count before reading the Status Update VDO. A broken or malicious device could send an incorrect count, causing the kernel to read uninitialized stack data and potentially leak sensitive information.
