In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: elx: efct: Fix refcount leak in efct_hw_io_abort() When… (CVE-2026-72082)CVE-2026-72082 0 A vulnerability in the Linux kernel's SCSI elx efct driver caused a reference count leak in the efct_hw_io_abort() function. When efct_hw_reqtag_alloc() fails, the error path returns without releasing a previously acquired reference, leading to a permanent reference leak. Additionally, the abort_in_progress flag remains set, blocking future abort attempts and hindering recovery. This issue has been resolved by adding the missing reference release and resetting the abort_in_progress flag.
